Sequential Inkjet Printing of Lysozyme and Tyrosinase on Polyamide Fabric: Sustainable Enzyme Binding on Textile Surface

نویسندگان

چکیده

An ink containing tyrosinase catalyzes the tyrosine residues on lysozyme protein to bind it a plasma-treated polyamide-6,6 (PA) fabric. Inkjet printing enables controlled and sequential deposition of two enzymes PA which is necessary for proper binding. The effect different sequences crosslinking stability enzymatic activity presented. bound fabric shows satisfactory antimicrobial activity. printed retains about 68% when before lysozyme. Further, this 24% initial up four reuses. acceptable inhibition bacterial growth almost half its cold stored month. This work potential binding textile surface using various means sustainable technologies, namely enzyme, inkjet, plasma.

A Review on Electrohydrodynamic-inkjet Printing Technology

Electrohydrodynamic (EHD)-inkjet printing is a novel high resolution inkjet printing technology with the advantages of being a maskless, non-contact, direct-write and additive process. Its printing resolution exceeds by about two orders of magnitude in comparison to the conventional inkjet printing systems. It is used in the field of micro/nano manufacturing for patterning of large class of mat...

Inkjet printing of bioadhesives.

Over the past century, synthetic adhesives have largely displaced their natural counterparts in medical applications. However, rising concerns over the environmental and toxicological effects of the solvents, monomers, and additives used in synthetic adhesives have recently led the scientific community to seek natural substitutes. Marine mussel adhesive protein is a formaldehyde-free natural ad...

Droplet-in-oil array for picoliter-scale analysis based on sequential inkjet printing.

In recent years, inkjet printing, as a new method to fabricate microdroplet microarrays, has been increasingly applied in the field of biochemical diagnostics. To further improve the general applicability of the inkjet printing technology in fabricating biochemical chips, in this work, we introduce a model to describe the multiple injection procedure implemented by the inkjet printing approach,...
